Service Description

Solo Diver The Solo Diver Course teaches the skills and mindset needed for self-reliant diving. Once discouraged, solo diving is now recognized by many agencies as a safe practice for properly trained and experienced divers. Instead of relying on a buddy, solo divers learn to plan, prepare, and execute dives independently with a focus on safety and self-sufficiency. What You’ll Learn: • Proper dive planning, gas management, and accident prevention • Recognizing and respecting personal limitations • Required redundant equipment, setup, and use • Self-rescue skills and emergency procedures • The benefits and hazards of diving solo This course is especially valuable for underwater photographers, videographers, or divers with less-experienced buddies, as well as those who want greater independence. Prerequisites: • Minimum age: 21 years old • Certification: Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) • Experience: 100 logged dives Requirements: • Complete the online self-paced training before booking water sessions. • Bring your completed medical questionnaire and liability waiver to your first “Get Wet” session (forms available via hyperlinks at the bottom of the page).
