We offer a full refund for cancellations made with at least 30 days' notice or if we cancel. For cancellations made less than 30 days in advance, we provide a credit for future bookings.

Our headquarters is in Central Florida, but we have locations, instructors, dive guides, and equipment throughout the state of Florida.

We offer scuba instruction all over Florida. In Central and Northern Florida, we teach in local springs. In South Florida, we teach at Blue Heron Bridge and off our charter partner boats.

Basic swimming ability is required for scuba certification at Sunshine State Scuba. All entry-level scuba certification programs include a swim evaluation consisting of: • 200-meter swim (not timed) • 10 minutes floating or treading water Students do not need to be competitive swimmers, but they must be comfortable in the water and able to complete these skills safely.
