Instructor Development Course (IDC) The Instructor Development Course prepares Divemasters and Assistant Instructors to become certified Open Water Scuba Instructors. This program focuses on developing confident educators, capable leaders, and professional dive instructors ready to teach safely and effectively in real-world environments. The IDC is divided into two parts: 1. Instructor Development Course (IDC) – Training, skill refinement, and instructional preparation 2.
